Chill
Out!
Violence is everywhere. It's a part of our everyday lives. We learn
how to become violent and abusive because it's so common What do you
think happens when we see and hear about all of this violence every
day of every week of every year of our lives? We become used to it.
We start thinking that violence is normal and is the right thing to
do. When it comes to relationships and how you treat other people,
IT'S OK TO GET ANGRY.
IT JUST DEPENDS ON HOW YOU HANDLE YOUR ANGER.
Getting angry does not mean you have to get violent or abusive.
There is nothing wrong with getting angry and upset. Everyone gets
mad. But it's wrong when you start yelling or pushing or being mean
about it. When you get angry, take a deep breath, keep calm, and
try one of the following alternatives before you become violent.
